This is Lily Marlene a most wonderful baby girl. She is happy, smiling and a bit playful. Lily hasn't had an easy start to life but her family loves her dearly. Lisa (her Mom) and Dustin (her brother) are helping her make at thru some tough times. She is loved by them completely.
To the left: Lisa kissing Lily. The top left: Lily after her birth. Lily got to know the hospital well after those first weeks of life. She is still fighting for her life. On April 24th Lily once again goes back to the hospital for heart surgery. She is a very brave little girl. On oxygen and with a feeding tube she has survived. She's a fighter.
Lily was born with Down syndrome, heart problems and other health issues. Yet she smiles and giggles while enjoying the world she has lovingly been brought into. Her Mother Lisa attends to her around the clock with medicines, feedings and keeping that darn feeding tube in. Lily is all so is sneaky! She's been known to pull her feeding tube out. Maybe her way of saying I'm a survivor.
